If you're looking to get around the area, but don't want to rent a car, Teton County and the town of Jackson provide the START (Southern Teton Area Rapid Transit) Bus. The START Bus runs from the town of Jackson to Teton Village and throughout Teton and Star Valley. START also offers a free shuttle around downtown Jackson. For a current schedule, click here.
